Debbie Bates R.T.C.Debbie created and opened her consulting business; Therapeutic Recreation Consultants in 1988!
Debbie graduated from C.S.U. Sacramento in 1987. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation administration - Therapeutic Recreation. Debbie is a certified R.T. by the California Board of Recreation & Parks Certification. She is also a member of CPRS (Ca. Parks & Recreation) & ATRA (American Therapeutic Recreation Association).
She has spent much of her career providing Recreation Therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities. She creates a variety of teambuilding events for staff, elementary & high school students, community groups as well as small or large businesses.
Therapeutic Recreation Consultants continues to grow strong! We provide Recreation Therapy consultation. We assist individuals to maximize their independence through recreational activities. We provide experiences to improve physical, cognitive, emotional, social & leisure skills. We serve all abilities.

Lisa Nollette MS, R.T.C.Lisa graduated from C.S.U. Sacramento in 1987 where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation administration - Therapeutic Recreation and a Master of Science degree Recreation Administration in 1992. Lisa is a certified Recreation Therapist by the California Board of Recreation & Parks Certification and a member of CPRS (Ca. Parks & Recreation).
Lisa has started up several in-patient Recreation therapy programs, collaborated with other therapy disciplines to establish a team therapy approach, instructed & supervised Recreation Therapy students, facilitated Ropes Course, provided a multitude of classes including Team Building, Stress Management, Communication, Family Leisure, Social Skill Development to name just a few. Teaching and group facilitation is a passion of Lisa’s. Her love for people and passion for Recreation Therapy has been her motivation on her 25 year journey in this field!

Sierra George C.T.R.S.Sierra graduated from UOP in 1987 in Therapeutic Recreation, the last graduating class in TR. She has been working with Therapeutic Recreation Consultants since 1994. Sierra’s Favorite thing about providing R.T. service is, “Hoping that the little bit I do in people's lives can make a difference in their quality of life”.
